The City That Rides Bike Rack
A winning design of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District Bike Rack Design Competition.
Created for the the City of Baltimore, The City That Rides bike rack is an elegantly formed stainless steel tube. The shape of the rack is derived from that of a bicycle, so it provides multiple locking points on any style frame. Adorning the entire length of tubing, are brightly polished stainless steel letters that repeatedly spell out the phrase, The City That Rides. I received funding to fabricate two of these racks, which will be installed on the streets of Baltimore sometime this spring.
